All set for the third edition of #NomWithMe, I took P.N. to Tortilla Arabia in Dubai Festival City. I love Mexican food and taco salads so was curious to check them out. They are located in the same level as the food court, but have their very own special nook. The whole store has this laidback, easy California-vibe that I liked.
Tortilla offers table service, but only after you’ve gone through the menu and deciding what you want on your taco. P.N. opted for the shrimp tacos, which were delicious. Each ingredient we savoured at Tortilla was delectable to the last lip smack. The taco tasted nice and wasn’t too greasy and the shrimps were succulent.
Let’s #taco ’bout how #delish these were! Fresh ingredients with grilled shrimp and a spicy salsa made these amazing. The virgin margarita at the back was great too! Thank you @tortillaar for being my next #nomwithme destination! I loved my taco bowl with grilled steak. The bowl is edible and doused with lots of fresh veggies, pico de gallo, guacamole and greens. May I say that their guacamole is one of the best I’ve ever had? P.N. and I thoroughly approved of the guac.
We also tried the nachos, which were just mediocre. The cheese tasted so fake.
I really liked their home-made virgin margaritas as they were nice and fresh.
On to the desserts. Tortilla’s churros with caramel as well as chocolate dipping sauces is the most delicious churros I’ve ever had. Pure comfort food. Didn’t enjoy the chocolate quesadillas though.
Overall, a good place for a quick bite!
