Looshi’s Macarons Cakes and Pies is a tiny little outlet located in the vibrant Jumeirah Lake Towers neighbourhood. I ordered in from them this weekend and just couldn’t wait to try them!

Looshi’s is most popular for their Lotus cheesecake and molten chocolate kunafa. (Yes, you read that right. Molten chocolate FRICKIN KUNAFA.)

As a long time lover of Kunafa, I couldn’t wait to try them out! Looshi’s is also known for their ‘delooshious’ macarons, brownies and cake jars.

Because I’m indeed not a shameless hogger of everything sweet (I have my limits), I could only bear to order these two things off the menu. But I will be back for sure!

  1. The Lotus Cheesecake Jar

This Lotus cheesecake (AED 25) arrived in a little jar and came with such adorable packing. It was hard not to go ‘awwww’ when I saw it! I give them full points on presentation. Other than that, the cheesecake tasted divine! It was great to share as well. I’m a huge Lotus biscoff fan; so if you like the flavour then you must try this one.

2. Molten Chocolate Kunafa

Molten Chocolate Kunafa from Looshi’s. Ooooh yeaaaah.

Decadent. That’s the best way I can describe this dessert. Arriving in a cute little box; this molten kunafa had to be heated for 10 seconds in the microwave before consumption. And it was yummy! The chocolate is Nutella-based and just melts almost deliriously in your mouth. The only thing that was missing was the cheese/cream so familiar with kunafa. I wonder if they’d consider adding that to the recipe next time?

Was I wow-ed away? With their adorable marketing, yes. The desserts I’ve tried so far are above average and inventive. I am looking forward to trying out their mango kunafa jar next time!

You can order directly from Looshi’s by calling them or ordering online from Talabat. Still need convincing? Check out their macarons below:
